Serve
At Phoenix CRC we view serving as one of the best ways to grow in our faith and connect with one another. Find ways to use your gifts and talents to work with God in His world by serving at Phoenix CRC and in the greater Phoenix community.
Sign up to serve on a Sunday morning or fill out the form below to let us know you're ready to serve.
Opportunities
Everyone appreciates the people who bring cookies or other refreshments available in the Fellowship Hall after the worship service every Sunday.
There are two ways to serve in this role.
One, “ambassadors” serve in the Information Station from roughly 9:10-9:30 on Sunday mornings. They smile and engage with new guests. They handout new guest bags and answer any questions.
Two, new guest “guides” will help new guests feel welcome over the early weeks and months of their time at Phoenix CRC. They might sit with them or answer questions or whatever helps a new guest feel welcome.
We have a Little Lambs class and Sunday School for students in kindergarten through 12th grade. Talk to Mrs. Norma Voss if you might be interested in serving in a teaching role.
If you play an instrument or like to sing, we can offer you an opportunity to use your gifts to praise God and helps others do so too.
Quarterly Service Project
These opportunities to serve are organized by our deacons so that everyone who is interested can work together on a project.
They have included serving at St. Vincent de Paul Urban Farm, partnering with the American Red Cross on hosting a blood drive, cleaning our "Adopted" road -- 28th Street between Thomas Road and Indian School Road, and more.
